God can do anything! Luke 1:37
Background:
This is Mary's Christmas piece for 2021.
First Elizabeth, an aging cousin of Mary becomes pregnant with a child who will help to prepare people’s hearts and minds for the Messiah; then Mary is told that she will become pregnant without having consummated her marriage to Joseph. The Angel Gabriel, the same one who appeared to Daniel, is the messenger to both women and to Mary he says, “God can do anything!”
This message still speaks to us today, our Creator God can do anything, there are a couple of other things to remember though...
Just because God can do anything doesn’t mean that God will do just what we want.
If our prayers are not Spirit led then they may not be completely unselfish - if a child asked you for sweets every day for breakfast for every child in the world you would say no wouldn’t you?
There is also a wonder in the idea of being inspired by the Spirit of God to pray for seemingly impossible situations and believing that God has no limitations, if we always pray within our own limited knowledge and understanding we will be confining how God may respond to a situation.

UPDATE: Plastic Sleeves: We are currently attempting to source biodegradable sleeves for our greetings cards. Until we have sourced appropriate ones we are either shipping cards unpacked or using up existing packed cards to fulfil orders. We will attempt supply trade orders with celephane wrapped cards on request.
