Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
What can I say about this piece? The words by the unknown author of the letter to the Hebrews sum up the conundrum of faith, complete trust or confidence, in God.
Trying to explain faith beyond those words is difficult and yet a challenge most people with a belief will have to answer at some point. Wiser people than me have suggested ideas that may deepen our understanding…
Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible. There is no glory for God in that which is humanly possible. Faith begins where man’s power ends. George Mueller 1805-1898
Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Faith is like Wi-Fi, it’s invisible but it has the power to connect you to the one who has everything that you need. Anon.
