Visiting our Shop and the Island of Lindisfarne

Our shop is open from Easter to October and over the Winter irregularly and by appointment. Before visiting the island please check the tide times (available here). The island is accessible at different hours each day and it is dangerous to try and cross outside the safe times.

Tide Information

Holy Island is linked to the mainland by a causeway road. Each day the tide sweeps in from the North Sea and covers the road cutting the Island off from the mainland. The information below is from Northumberland County Council's website.
