This piece is a limited edition mini-print. Mary
produced this piece by painting onto coloured card which when finished we
realised we could not print in-house successfully.

Luke 22:19 (New International Version ©1984)
And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me."
Background: A
meal with family or friends is probably one of the finest ways of catching up,
sharing time and enjoying company, that I can think of. Sometimes it can be a
welcome relaxation after a stressful time, sometimes it can be a poignant time
of reflection, remembering absent folk, sometimes it can be just a chance to sit
down and stop for a while in a safe environment.
When we are sharing the bread and wine with fellow believers it is an opportunity to remember the man who was God, the wisdom of His teaching, the impact of His actions and the sacrifice He gave. It is a chance to be still and enjoy being surrounded by others of a like mind.
Through it we are doing something which Jesus asked us to do, from beyond the constraints of time and place His words are spoken directly to you, "Do this in remembrance of me."
