Words:
My dear ones O God, bless thou and keep; the homes of my dear ones O
God, bless thou and keep; the dear ones of my dear ones O God, bless thou
and keep; My dear ones O God, bless thou and keep in every place where
they are this night and tommorows' day and every night and day thereafter.
Background:
Words from the Aidan & Cuthbert Complines used by Northumbria Community
adapted from a prayer by G.R.D. McLean based on Alexander Carmichaels'
translation of the Carmina Gadelica (No.s 43 & 337). The images have
special meaning to me but I hope that you will see the faces and places and
remember those dear to you.
